Price growth of bulk construction materials in the National Capital Region (NCR) steadied in December, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Thursday. Data from the PSA showed the construction materials wholesale price index (CMWPI) in NCR went up by 0.8% year on year in December, matching the pace in November. However, it was higher than the 0.2% annual growth posted in December 2024. In 2025, the CMWPI growth average slowed to 0.1% from 0.6% in 2024. The CMWPI is based on constant 2018 prices.
