The Monetary Board on Wednesday trimmed the target reverse repurchase (RRP) rate by 25 bps, bringing the key rate to 6% from 6.25%. Even Mars rovers like to chase solar eclipses. On Sept. 30, NASA’s Perseverance rover turned its Left Mastcam-Z camera toward the sky and photographed a solar eclipse from Mars, capturing the planet’s moon Phobos partially blocking the sun’s disk. A Russian whale watcher has been found alive, along with two dead relatives, two months after he set off. State TV showed 46-year-old Mikhail Pichugin in a hospital in Magadan, talking and smiling after his ordeal. Chief doctor Yuri Lednev said he was suffering from dehydration and hypothermia but was in a stable condition. The family went missing after setting off for Sakhalin Island from Cape Perovsky in the Khabarovsk region on 9 August. A rescue effort failed to locate them.
