UK higher education institution: Anglia Ruskin University is using virtual reality to conserve the Cornish language of Kernewek and the Italian language of Griko. Both Indigenous languages are on the brink of being lost to history; virtual reality through XR capabilities will bring these near-forgotten languages to the present day via digital archives encompassing film, audio, and photographs.
