They talk of feeling seen, understood and liberated after reading it; that it’s made them feel less alone, less crazy, braver. For some it’s prompted them to end relationships, leave jobs or confront loved ones. Groups have splintered off and arranged real-life meet-ups. In Paris, Los Angeles, London, Texas, Seattle and more, women have gathered for conversations sparked by the book.
